ACADEMY policy

Housekeeping Rules

Reporting time is strictly 10 minutes before the start of training.

All players are STRICTLY required to wear their Lion Kids Football Academy kit for all trainings. No other sets of Jerseys, T-shirts, shorts or colored socks are allowed. Additional kits and gear can be purchased from our registration counter.

Poor Weather Conditions

In the case of light rain, training resumes as per normal.

In the case of heavy rain and/or lightning, as detected by the lightning alert system, training will be cancelled. The discretion to call off the session(s) will solely be on Lion Kids Football Academy and feedback will not be attended to. 

Public Holidays

Lion Kids Football Academy will be following the local Singaporean calendar. As such, there will be no training on specific Singapore-registered public holidays. You will be notified of these dates at the beginning of each term.

 Privacy Policy

Lion Kids Football Academy reserves the right to use any photograph/video taken at any events participated, without the expressed written permission of those included within the photograph/video. Lion Kids Football Academy may use the photograph/video in publications or other media material produced, used or contracted by Lion Kids Football Academy including but not limited to: newsletters, brochures, invitations, newspapers, magazines, television, websites, etc.

To ensure the privacy of individuals and children, images will not be identified using full names or personal identifying information without written approval from the photographed subject, parent or legal guardian.

A person attending a Lion Kids Football Academy event who does not wish to have their image recorded for distribution should make their wishes known to the Academy via in writing of his/her intentions. By participating in a Lion Kids Football Academy event or by failing to notify Lion Kids Football Academy event, in writing, your desire to not have your photograph used by Lion Kids Football Academy , you are agreeing to release, defend, hold harmless and indemnify Lion Kids Football Academy from any and all claims involving the use of your picture or likeness.

Any person or organisation not affiliated with Lion Kids Football Academy may not use, copy, alter or modify Lion Kids Football Academy’s photographs, graphics, videography or other similar reproductions or recordings without the advance written permission to the academy.

Disruptive behaviour by members

“Disruptive behaviour” means conduct that materially and substantially interferes with or obstructs the teaching or business operations process in the context of a class setting. Disruptive behaviour includes conduct that distracts or intimidates others in a manner that interferes with instructional activities and interferes with the normal operations of the Academy (e.g verbal abuses, family disputes).

“Disruptive behaviour” is prohibited. Parents/guardians who engage in disruptive behaviour at the training location(s) will be directed by the instructor to leave the place together with their child(ren) immediately. If the Parent/guardian refuses to leave after being requested to do so, the instructor may summon the Singapore Police Force with a follow up through legal action. 

Refund Policy

There is a strict no-refund policy for any missed training sessions or programmes (including camps). If your child misses training/camp due to injury/illness/or for any other reason, please arrange to attend another class/camp day within the term calendar. You will need to update Lion Kids Football Academy on the change prior to attending the class/camp or when the broadcast message for the class is sent to you.

We do not offer refunds or bring forward any credits for any missed session by the participant or cancelled session due to weather. This includes our camp programmes.

Payment(s)

• Term fees are to be paid within the deadline stated in the email/message sent out by Lion Kids Football Academy. Any payments received after the stated deadline will incur a $50 late fee per student.
• There will be NO REFUND for all fees paid under any circumstances.
• We have a no-pay no-play policy and failure to pay the term fees within the first week of the term will risk your child’s slot being forfeited and legal action being taken by Lion Kids Football Academy’s legal team for further payment delays. 

Disclaimers

Lion Kids Football Academy  seeks your utmost understanding/co-operation in the above-mentioned matters. 

• Lion Kids Football Academy reserves the right to edit and amend its Academy Policy as and when it deems fit.
• Lion Kids Football Academy reserves the right to accept, reject or terminate any person from its programme.
• Any circumstance beyond the control of a party, which delays, interrupts or prevents the event/activity, shall be deemed to be an event of “Force Majeure”. Such circumstances shall include but are not limited to breach of the peace, epidemic, flood, fire, explosion, rain, lightning, storm, sabotage, power failure not due to either party’s fault, act of God, strike, picketing, lock-out and act of government authority. Should the event have to be cancelled due to an event of Force Majeure, Lion Kids Football Academy  shall not be in default and members shall not be entitled to any refund, compensation, damages or any other recourse against Lion Kids Football Academy. 

• Football is a contact sport and, as such, injuries do happen. While Lion Kids Football Academy will take every precaution to ensure injuries do not occur during their coaching sessions and league matches, Lion Kids Football Academy, their coaches, and players will not be held responsible or liable for any permanent injuries or losses of property that may occur arising from any cause whatsoever during their time at a coaching session or league match. 

• Should Lion Kids Football Academy be unable to contact the child’s parent/guardian, I hereby give my permission to Lion Kids Football Academy to seek medical assistance for my child/ward. I will bear full financial responsibility for any costs incurred.
